About Toronto Hoarding Cleanup: 15 Years of Zero-Judgment Work
Toronto Hoarding Cleanup is a Toronto team of hoarding, biohazard and trauma remediation specialists. In 15 years we have restored more than 1,400 homes, units and estates across the GTA, always from unmarked vehicles, always with a written scope and always without judgment.

It Started With One Scarborough Bungalow
In 2010, a Toronto family faced something thousands of GTA families face every year. An aunt had lived alone for 15 years in a 1960s Scarborough bungalow, and slowly, the house had become unlivable. Rooms had filled. The basement was damp. The kitchen no longer worked. When the family finally stepped in, they called every company they could find.
The quotes fell into two groups. Some were shame-based, with crews who talked about the house as if the person living there was not standing right beside them. Others were truckload-priced, offering to haul everything to landfill with no sorting, no decontamination and no idea what the final bill would be. Nobody offered to sit down with the family, sort the photos from the papers or clean the home properly once it was empty.
That experience became this company. Our founder trained in IICRC S540 trauma and crime scene cleanup and biohazard remediation, then hired a crew who could do two jobs at once: the technical cleanup and the family mediation. Everything since has been built around the same three ideas. Unmarked vehicles, so nobody's private crisis becomes a street event. Zero judgment, so people can ask for help without feeling small. A documented scope, so families know exactly what will happen and what it will cost.
Fifteen years later, our crews work in every part of the GTA, from downtown towers to Kleinburg estates. We are an approved vendor for Toronto Community Housing and several property management firms, and we specialize in Toronto Property Standards Orders under Municipal Code Chapter 629. But the work still starts the same way it did in that Scarborough living room: with a crew lead sitting down with a family and listening first.

4 Values Behind Every Job
Zero Judgment
We never use shame words, never lecture and never comment on how a home got this way. Hoarding is a health condition, and people deserve respect while they get help.
Discretion
Unmarked vans, plain clothes outside, PPE on inside and nothing on the curb for the street to read. Conversations stay between us and the family.
Documented Honesty
Published CAD prices, a written itemized scope before work starts and no truckload surprises. If we got the estimate wrong, that is on us.
Nothing Lost by Accident
Every item is sorted with family into keep, donate or discard. Photos, papers and keepsakes are hand-sorted on every job, everytime.
The Toronto Hoarding Cleanup Crew
IICRC S540 Certified Hoarding & Biohazard Remediation Team
The Toronto Hoarding Cleanup Crew has spent 15 years clearing and decontaminating hoarded, biohazard and trauma-affected homes across Toronto and the GTA, with 1,400+ properties completed. The team works from unmarked vehicles, sorts every item with families and documents scope for adjusters, executors and Property Standards Order inspectors.
Every guide, service page and location page on this site is written and reviewed by the crew. We sign our work as a team because that is how we do it: crew leads, technicians and the office staff who answer your call at 2 a.m. all share the same standards.
