Terms of Service

Last updated: October 7, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By using this website or booking services with Toronto Hoarding Cleanup, you agree to these Terms of Service. Each job is also governed by the written scope you approve before work begins. If the scope and these terms differ, the signed scope applies.

2. Services

Toronto Hoarding Cleanup provides the following services in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area:

3. Assessments and Written Scope

In-home assessments are free and carry no obligation. After an assessment, we provide a written, itemized scope listing the work, crew size, expected days on site, disposal plan and price. Work begins only after you approve the scope. If we discover conditions that could not reasonably be seen at the assessment, such as hidden sharps, concealed water damage or structural issues, we will stop, explain what we found and ask for your written approval before doing any additional work.

4. Authority to Book

By booking, you confirm that you are the homeowner, property manager, executor or an authorized family representative, and that you have the right to give us access and to make decisions about the contents of the property. We may ask for proof of authority, such as an executor's documents or a property management agreement.

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and exclude HST unless stated otherwise. Published price bands are estimates. Your approved scope sets the final price. We accept cash, credit card and e-transfer. Large or staged jobs may require a deposit, with the balance due on completion. Where an insurer is involved, you remain responsible for any amount the insurer does not pay.

6. Scheduling and Cancellation

Please give at least 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel. Late cancellations may be charged for crew time and equipment already committed, as set out in your scope. Emergency and after-hours call-outs that have already been dispatched may be billed for the attendance.

7. Sorting, Belongings and Disposal

We sort contents with you or your representative into keep, donate and discard. Items are removed only with your approval. You are responsible for removing or identifying items of high value before work begins, and for decisions made by you or your representative during sorting. Donations are made to charities in good faith, and charities decide what they accept. Regulated waste is handled by licensed carriers under Ontario law.

8. Workmanship Warranty

Every cleanup includes a written workmanship warranty. If you believe any part of the agreed scope was not completed as written, contact us promptly and we will return to inspect and correct it. The warranty covers our workmanship on the approved scope. It does not cover new accumulation, new contamination or conditions outside the scope.

We provide documents such as compliance letters, photo logs and disposal records to support your dealings with insurers, inspectors and courts. We are not lawyers, insurers or municipal officials. Our documents and website content are not legal or insurance advice, and decisions by insurers, the Landlord and Tenant Board or municipal inspectors are outside our control.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Toronto Hoarding Cleanup is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from our services or this website. Our total liability for any claim related to a job is limited to the amount paid for that job. We carry WSIB coverage and commercial general liability insurance.

11. Website Content

Content on this website, including text, graphics and logos, belongs to Toronto Hoarding Cleanup. Guides and articles are general information only and may not fit your situation. Prices and service details can change without notice.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
